Pete Rose

Pete Rose was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1941. He played professional baseball for 24 years. Most of his career was spent with the Cincinnati Reds. During that time he was awarded the Sports Illustrated Sports Person of the year, Lou Gehrig Memorial Award, plus the NL Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player Award. He will be inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame in 2016.
